He trained #1 months before #2 and i got sick of changing dirty diapers!! So everytime he went #2 in the potty, he got a brand new car. Everytime he went in his diaper at naps or his underwear , one got taken away. Worked within a few days for us!

Hope you find something that works!!Donielle @ Raising Peanutshttp://www.raisingpeanuts.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8772921478098122352.post-24427492398834474522009-06-11T14:11:49.477-04:002009-06-11T14:11:49.477-04:00Hmmm...tough one. It's hard to know because my Owen does the same thing (hide) when he needs to poop, but he freezes when he hits the potty so I don't think he is totally ready for that step. He is the awareness step, but not the go on the potty step, if you know what I mean. With my kids, I tend to wait until they are almost ready to train themselves. With Gavin, that was past age 3. With Maddie, she was barely 2, but both of them trained with a week or two (including nights) once we started.

I hear you on the saving money on diapers. I wish I could stop buying that second pack each week (obviously we'll be buying Benjamin's for awhile!), but I just don't think Owen is quite ready.Kristinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17152562871467319771noreply@blogger.com
