
I spent much time yesterday with clipping out coupons from the paper DH went out and purchased for me. (At church last night we got 3-4 more copies! ~ I still have to clip those.) Last night, while DH worked at the table next to me, I worked on our meal plan and grocery list. I'm still not done with the list (we don't shop till tonight), but the meal plan worked out well! Here it is:
Monday ~ Spaghetti (I'm adding Sweet Italian Sausage chunks and mushrooms to a jar sauce I already have), Garlic Bread, and Salad
Tuesday ~ Grilled Chicken (marinated in something), Rice Pilaf, Sauteed Asparagus, Warmed bread
Wednesday ~ Beef Stroganoff, Rice Pilaf (since we will have left overs from Tuesday), Salad, Steamed/seasoned carrots
Thursday ~ Grilled Tilapia (DH doesn't mind the cold, so we just keep grilling!), mashed potatoes (who knew how easy they were from scratch?!), Salad, Asparagus (the rest of it)
Friday ~ Date night... eating out!
Saturday ~ Photo Shoot (eating out on the job!)
Sunday ~ Left overs (or breakfast if there aren't any left-overs)
There you have it! Now we work to follow it. Lunches are mostly just me... sandwiches, or nibbling throughout the day. Breakfast is cold cereal, oatmeal, or whatever else I find. :)
